Limited Edition silkscreen graphic print of polar explorer Captain Scott's famous diary entry as he reached the South Pole in 1912, created by award-winning illustrator Andy Smith, commissioned by Polarworld.

On arriving at the South Pole in January 1912, the British polar explorer Scott discovered that he had been forestalled to the prize of the Pole by his Norwegian rival Roald Amundsen. Scott wrote in his journal that evening:

'Great God! This is an awful place and terrible enough for us to have laboured to it without the reward of priority...'

Striking in its graphic simplicity, this hand-printed silkscreen was commissioned by the indie publishing company Polarworld and limited to an edition of 100. Perfect for any office!  Would make a great gift.
